CNG Vehicle are available with following following car maufacturers Tata Models:Indica and the Indigo Marina CNG option is now available as an after-market fitment at dealer level. Ford Ford will be Introducing CNG vehicles by this month end.
Mahindra CNG is also available with 3 door facility. Hyundai will be introducing their Sonata models in CNG Versions by Jan 2007. Though Maruthi has got facility for CNG conversion,LPG is prefered by them,due to easy availability. CNG conversion cost would be around Rs.30,000 - 35,000. I have attached the specification's of ambassador CNG Vehicles.
Advantages: Bi-fuel Possbility & cost effective.
Disadvantages: Loss of luggage space & Slightly vehicle performance is affected.
